Bob Dorough Back in Action as Musical Director of Schoolhouse Rock!
Most of the original team is back, doing songs about the Inconvenient Truth, with Tom Yohe, Jr. taking the place and nicely so of his father, the late Tom Yohe who was director of animation for the series. Songs are being written by Lynn Ahrens, David Frishberg, Bob Dorough, George Newall, and their new writer, Andy Brick. Sessions are being booked and Bob Dorough will make a fast flying trip to Los Angeles to record the voice of Jack Sheldon, who is one of the most favored voices in Schoolhouse Rock. The new series, for Disney/ABC, will most likely be offered in a DVD format rather than being broadcast as they were in the seventies. But stay tuned.
